A jQuery plugin for cutting overflowing text and replacing it with an ellipsis
Works better when used with text that needs to fit inside small areas.

If the text goes over the boundary of a container box, it's (overflow) ending is replaced with an ellipsis (by default, can be customized).

jQuery.readMore works without a glitch, regardless of CSS styles, padding, line-height, letter-spacing, the number of text lines or the used font family.

This keeps text in check and prevents the layout from being broken.

Perfect for using when text input is dynamic and the layout must adjust accordingly.

A demo of jQuery.readMore is included with the download package.
