Duckdown - Text can be easily formatted via a special syntax and displayed as HTML inside the browser, just like Markdown
Duckdown was designed to add support for formatting text using a simple syntax instead of learning the complicated ways of HTML coding.

It was designed for using with text editors and comes with support for many formatting features and possibilities.

You may recognize some of its syntax, since Duckdown is actually inspired by Markdown. The differences between Duckdown and Markdown are on the way they were coded, each taking a different approach on the same problem.

Duckdown works with client-side (browsers) and server-side (Node.js) environments.

A demo is included with the download package.

Supported formatting elements:
Bold
Italic
Underline
Strikethrough
Headings
Links
Horizontal Rules
Bulletted / Unordered Lists
Numbered / Ordered Lists
Blockquotes
Preformatted Text
