renamedicom renames Dicom Images with Sequential Alpha Numeric Nomenclature. Dicom images generated by certain machines have nomenclature that is cryptic and non-sequential. This script renames dicom file into a different target file.
The new names are automatically generated and include 3 alphabetic letters, followed by the sequence number. The sequence number is derived from the dicom header. Requirements:
