Apache Airavata 0.13

An open source Java toolkit for building distributed computational systems for dealing with huge amounts of scientific information
Apache Airavata is not for the common developer, being geared toward scientists that work with huge computational resources.

Airavata supports large clusters that need to be interconnected and synced so they will be able to handle large data streams and complex computational jobs.

The Airavata package includes a server package, a general purpose GUI, and various client SDKs.

Main features:

  • Registry service (XRegistry)
  • Publish-subscribe based message broker (WS-Messenger)
  • GUI for workflow composition and monitoring (XBaya Workflow Suite)
