pyquery 1.2.9

A powerful query language for Python, inspired by jQuery's original syntax, allowing advanced queries on HMTL and XML documents
The pyquery API and syntax tries to stick as much as possible to the original jQuery implementation, nevertheless some differences are present.

For actually interacting with the HTML and XML documents themselves, the lxml library is used.

pyquery only deals with translating the commands to actual Python code.

The purpose behind this library is to allow the majority of developers to use the infamous easy to learn and easy to use jQuery query model and syntax to interact with XML and HTML documents inside Python applications.

The library basically takes full advantage of jQuery's syntax and spread amongst the developer community to provide a robust XML and HTML query language for Python.

The project is very well documented, providing all the help needed to use it.
