ASPListings 1.0

ASPListings can be used to list anything on your website. Special versions are available for Automotive, Marine, and Real Estate. It provides an easy way to list inventory on your website without the need to edit HTML. It gives you a simple yet powerful web based interface for managing web site listings and it currently comes in 4 flavors:
- Automotive
- Marine
- Real Estate
- Generic - Can be used to list anything. The price search can be removed if need be as can nearly anything else you do not need.
The only real differences between the generic and the other versions are a few hard coded fields specific to Autos, Boats, And Properties and a few other minor changes.

ASPListings keeps things simple. Many sites out there have ridiculous search criteria for their web site inventory. It is confusing and hard for the user to find what they are looking for. With ASPListings categories can be set up however you like up to 4 levels deep. These categories combined with a simple price and keyword search give your website visitors an easy way to find what they are looking for.

In addition to the built in fields for describing items there are 8 optional custom fields that you can label and use however you like. This makes the system very dynamic.

It is also very easy to change the look of the system. A special template file is provided that can be edited with any HTML editor. Changing this file changes the HTML that surrounds the application.
It literally takes seconds to make changes to the overall layout.

Please Note: Only the site owner and other Admin's can manage the listings. User's cannot upload listings with this application. If you want something like that you should look at our ASPClassifieds application.

All source code is included. (written using vbscript)
You have the ability to modify and edit anything you like.

To use this system your web site must be hosted on a WinNT/2000 server running IIS and be able to process ACTIVE SERVER PAGES scripts. This system will also run on PWS which is primarily used on development machines.
