    ProtoTube description

    This is a Prototype native JavaScript class to automatically embed YouTube videos from anchor links

    The class can generate HTML to embed a player to show the video in other Web site pages or can generate HTML to display thumbnail preview of the videos and display video in a overlay viewer (example 2).

    The class has been tested and is compatible with IE6, IE7, IE8, Firefox 3.09, Safari 3.2.2 and Opera 9.61.

    Requirements:

    · JavaScripts enabled on client side
    · Prototype 1.6.1_rc2 or higher
    · Scriptaculous Effects 1.8.2 or higher
    · SWFObject 2.1 or higher
