    as3icy description

    This is an ActionScript 3 class for decoding and playing Shoutcast, Icecast and Limewire audio streams

    as3icy is an alternative replacement for Flash Player’s Sound object.

    Basically, under the hood, the class extracts metadata info from the stream in real time, using it to play the stream onwards.

    It can also reliably be used to decode and play VBR MP3 files.

    Requirements:

    · ActionScript 3
    · Flash Player 10 or higher
    · Adobe AIR 1.5 or higher
