Gump3 is a specialized mp3 player that lets you precisely and easily navigate to parts of an mp3 file and play it.

It was designed for playing foreign language tapes, where is needed to repeatedly play small parts of a long mp3 file.

Gump3 is written in Python/Tkinter, and depends on a Python extension to play the mp3 file. Gump3 is not a general purpose mp3 player, rather it is a mp3 tool developed for a specific purpose.
