svgwrite works accordingly to the W3C SVG 1.1 Standard.

svwrite works on a coordinates based system, and supports unit systems like pixels, ems, exs, points, inches, millimeters, and centimeters.

The library supports preset objects like circles, lines, squares, ellipses, rectangles, polygons, polylines, gradients, and many other more.

Animations, filter effects, text, and masking is also supported.
