Shifty 1.3.10

A low-level tweening engine for JavaScript, allowing developers to control animation sequences, keyframes, and various timing effects
The term "tween" is short for "in-betweening", and was first used with Flash development, referring to the process of adding intermediate frames to an animation sequence.

The purpose of adding these extra frames was to smooth out animations, and has become a mainstay in modern-day animation engines.

Shifty is a JavaScript tweening engine, helping developers smooth out Web JS-based animations by adding appropriate frames where it's needed.

Documentation and examples are provided with the download package.

Shifty can work in both client-side (browser, jQuery) and server-side (Node.js) scenarios.

Main features:

  • Controllable tween procedure
  • Lightweight file size
