Delayed Event Firing 22/02/11

A jQuery plugin for delaying the firing of an event
'Delayed Event Firing' allows a certain time to pass before the callback function of an event is fired, assuring that event has finished happening and it's safe to interact with the result.

This plugin may not be attractive to jQuery beginners, but advanced programmers will love it since it spares them from writing complicated code structures to make sure their code occurs after the event has finished and does not block an user interface with useless feedback.
