Why is this important? Cause the titles in Google search results are limited to 512px.
This is why webmasters and especially must try to keep their titles short, so they fit in Google's title container and not be cut off via an ellipsis.
The plugin adds a special widget on the page and post editing section in WP's backend.
This widget will report to the user how many pixels the current page title has.
Installation:
Unpack and upload it to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory.
Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' menu in WordPress.
Requirements:
· WordPress 3 or higher
Limitations:
· The widget interface is in Italian, but it's not a problem since the page title width is clearly showed and the presentation text is generic.
