Spider Calendar can be used to manage, embed and display an events calendar inside WordPress posts, pages or the sidebar via widgets.

Adding events is done from the WordPress backend, where the calendar's settings can also be changed.

Here different frontend layouts can be chosen, the fonts and colors can be changed, and other display settings can be tweaked accordingly.

Spider Calendar supports one-time and repetitive events, custom calendar views, custom date/time formats and organizing events in different categories.

The commercial version of this plugin grants access to calendar themes, more than one calendar to be used, and more than 5 events to be added to a calendar.

Installation:

Unpack and upload it to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory.
Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' menu in WordPress.

A similar version of this plugin is also available for Joomla.
