'Favorite Plugins' closely works in conjunction with WordPress.org.
It relies on the webmaster having an WordPress.org account and going around the WordPress plugin repository and marking plugins as "Favorites".
Basically, 'Favorite Plugins' adds a special option in WP's plugin installer, where the webmaster can enter his WordPress.org username and have all the plugins he marked as "Favorites" retrieved and listed, ready to be installed.
Installation:
Unpack and upload it to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory.
