Batcache 1.2

A caching plugin for WordPress, relying on Memcached
Batcache stores cached pages and files on a remote location and serves static pages instead of assembling and rendering the page for every user individually.

In case of a huge traffic surge, new users are served older pages, so they still land on the site, even if the page is a few minutes older than the actual page.

Whenever they interact with the site (comment, settings change, etc.), he's served the latest version of the site. This ensures users don't land on blank or 505 error pages and they actually get to see the site nevertheless.

The plugin can even be used where the site is run from more than one server. Batcache stores the cache in one single location and serving all instances the same.

Installation:

Unpack and upload it to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory.
Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' menu in WordPress.
