    OpenPyxl description

    This is a Python library to read/write Excel 2007 xlsx/xlsm files

    It is ported from the PHPExcel project and is a pure Python reader and writer of Excel OpenXML files.

    Here are some key features of "OpenPyxl":

    Supported data types:
    · String (shared, Inline not currently supported)
    · Integer
    · Float
    · Date

    Supported Excel features:
    · Names ranges
    · Number formats (built-in and custom formats)

    Implicit conversion between Python types and Excel types:
