    mwlib.zim description

    A Python for library parsing MediaWiki (Wikipedia) articles and writing the output in ZIM files

    The library is intended for programmers or developers working on wiki systems supporting the MediaWiki synthax or web-designers parsing and transforming content from Wikipedia.

    The library works by taking ZIP files generated by mwlib and converting them to ZIM files.

    Other mwlib extensions are available for rendering MediaWiki (Wikipedia) data to:
    XHTML 1.0 Transitional
    DocBook XML
    PDF
    epub
    CDB
