It allows storing a customer's credit card information on the Authorize.net servers.
Several important features are implemented without exposing a store owner to the security risk of storing credit card details in their database.
Installation
Unpack in your modules folder (usually '/sites/all/modules/')
Enable under Administer > Site Building > Mod
Here are some key features of "Authorize.net Advanced (CIM) Payment Gateway":
· A page where the customer can edit/update the credit card information on file (user/[uid]/creditcards), such as updating their info when their card expires.
· A page where the admin can view a list of all customer payment profiles and click through for more info.
· The admin can edit or delete payment profiles.
· The admin can issue refunds or make charges on an order using the payment profile.
