SimpleModal 1.2

It can work in asynchronous mode and retrieve content from inline HTML or external pages.

When clicking a preset element, the plugin dims out the page light and shows a floating popup with the desired content.

A working demo is included with the download package.

A jQuery version of this plugin is also available.
