The Explorer Bar was introduced with Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0 to provide a display area adjacent to the browser pane.
It is basically a child window within the Internet Explorer window, and it can be used to display information and interact with the user in much the same way.
Explorer Bars are most commonly displayed as a vertical pane on the left side of the browser pane. However, an Explorer Bar can also be displayed horizontally.
The Explorer Bar is activated/deactivated by clicking a button on the toolbar.
The Explorer Bar webpage will remain in the browser no matter where the user surfs to. So you can use it as a permanent source for your website to serve dynamic content. If the user clicks on a link, the main browser window is targeted.
This product comes complete with instructions which will enable you to customise the installation script.
