jQuery Lately works by preventing images from loading on a page if they're not visible on screen.

Implementing this 'lazy loading' algorithm, developers can protect and preserve their bandwidth on pages with lots of images, which in most cases get ignored if the users don't scroll down the page.

The plugin saves bandwidth costs and also improves page loading times at the same time.

In case JS is turned off, there's a problem loading jQuery, or with another JS script, there's a fallback method included, so images will not be prevented from loading as normally.

A demo is included with the download.
