    tvreg: Variational Imaging Methods description

This package is a collection of MATLAB functions for total variation (TV) based image denoising, deconvolution, and inpainting, and an implementation of Chan-Vese segmentation

For image restoration problems, three different noise models are supported: additive white Gaussian noise (traditional L2 data fidelity), impulsive noise (L1 data fidelity), and Poisson.

The problems can be solved using the recent split Bregman method.

Also included is an efficient MEX implementation of Chan-Vese two-phase segmentation. All functions support grayscale, color, and arbitrary multichannel images.

    Requirements:

    · MATLAB 7.5 or higher
