Just like THREES and 1024, the game is played on a 4 by 4 square grid.
To move the tiles, the player can use his keyboard's arrow keys.
The principle behind the game is that numbers in the same power of 2 will touch, merge and create a new number.
So if you merge two number 2 tiles, they become 4, and so on. 4 becomes 8, becomes 16, becomes 32, becomes 64, becomes 128, becomes 256, becomes 512, becomes 1024, and finally 2048. When a 2048 tile is created, the player wins.
