Makisu

While JavaScript was and is mainly used for form masking techniques, CSS3 is providing new ways of styling Web forms.

Makisu provides an animated alternative style for drop-down select fields.

It uses a unfold/fold animation to open/close the drop-down panel, heavily relying on CSS 3.

A working demo is included with the download package.

Requirements:

· JavaScript enabled on client side
· CSS 3 enabled browser

Limitations:

· Works only in recent browsers supporting CSS 3.
· Created as a concept, not fully tested.
