It comes with tree-style navigation, custom search, tabs, special zones for presenting code and more.
Here are some key features of "WebHelpView":
· This application uses a tree control for displaying the sections and the navigation.
· A tab control will be used to switch between the tree, index and search as you typically do in a desktop based help reader.
· A split pane control is needed to separate the navigation/search from the individual pages.
· A less obvious necessity is the special need for navigation. With AJAX, you load your page with all the controls in place and then make changes to the individual sections of the page with information retrieved from the server. Since we are not ever really "navigating" we have to make special effort to handle the page navigation of the back and forward navigation as well as internal links. The internal links if left untouched would load only that page in the whole browser and wipe out all your controls and layout. They must be modified to be retrieved with an AJAX server call.
