webGab is an ASP based online message board, or bulletin board system (BBS), with at least the following features:
- Using the technology developed for webNav, threaded topics may be expanded and collapsed.
- A search form allows you to find any message, current or archived, based on poster, subject, message content or date (date selections utilize the pop-up calendar from webCal).
- You can opt to receive replies to your postings in e-mail (requires download and installation of free e-mail component).
- Collapsed threads will indicate whether there are any new replies so that you don't have to expand every thread to check (Microsoft Outlook still won't do this).
- Online administration of forums, users and posts (create, edit, delete).
- No need for the "n/m" in subjects without messages. Posts without messages will be a different color.
