    TwinHelix Forums description

This is a bulletin-board written Perl that is standards-compliant, cutomizable and does not require a database connection

It supports different user groups, normal user operations (edit, post, delete, pin, lock) and web-based administration.

Here are some key features of "TwinHelix Forums":

    · Written in CGI Perl with no non-standed modules required, for easy installation.
    · Cross-platform compatible so it should run on most webservers.
    · No SQL databases or DBM routines required - uses ASCII text files for data storage.
    · Fast topic indexing routine ensures quick load times and conserves server resources.
    · Search function for each forum you create.
    · User account support with signatures, locations, post editing/deletion and more.
    · Administrator options including topic locking/pinning and account editing.
    · Appearance based on template "skin" file for easy customisability.
    · XHTML+CSS compliant formatting supplied by default.
    · Times displayed in user's local time zone, not GMT or server time.

    Requirements:

    · Perl 5 or higher
    · CGI module
