MYBoard is a MySQL Bulletin Board system written in perl. Formating of MYBoard can be done using a header and footer file aswell as setting a few variables within the cgi script.

Once logged in, you as the Admin can create and delete forums aswell as edit your own and other users details. The script has the following features :

• 3 User levels - User, Moderator and Admin. An Admin can Create/Delete forums, edit user details and delete threads and users, A moderator can delete threads from the forum.


• HTML allowed/disallowed - You can decide when installing the script if you want html allowed in posts


• Threads or not - You decide how you want your forums to appear during installation, threaded shows a single post per page with links to responses/followups, Non threaded displays the whole thread on a single page.


• Author name or username - How do you want post authors shown? you can decide during installation whether to display the authors username or real name.


• User Registration - All users must be registered before reading the forums.


• Users must verify their registration before they can post to the forums.


• You will be emailed every time a new user verifies their registration.


• Email Responses - When posting to a forum the author can opt to have all responses emailed to them.


• You can decide to receive a copy of every post posted on the forum in your mailbox enabling you to monitor posts without visiting your forums.
