Gusto 1.0.0.beta17

A complex behavioral-driven testing (BDD) framework, a powerful toolkit for testing the validity and quality of CoffeeScript code
BDD is a software development process based on test-driven development (TDD).

It's a complex development pattern that relies of written tests and testing the previously written code before moving on to the next section/task.

This continuously testing cycle relies on constantly running tests, which may get annoying after a while.

Gusto includes a special CLI tool for running tests and specs automatically, helping cut down some of the time needed for running each test individually.

Gusto was previously known as Seaweed.

Main features:

  • Native support for CoffeeScript
  • Clean syntax for assertions and stubs
  • No support for plain JavaScript
  • Command-line autotest mode
