java-oembed 0.3.10

A Java OEmbed consumer library
oEmbed is a format for allowing an embedded representation of a URL on third party sites.

The simple API allows a website to display embedded content (such as photos or videos) when a user posts a link to that resource, without having to parse the resource directly.

This library allows Java-based apps or websites to get resources from OEmbed providers.

The library is an OEmbed implementation for Java based on Apache HttpClient and also works with Spring 3.x.

Similar consumer libraries also exist for:
Python
Perl
Ruby
.NET
