Node CSV is optimized for asynchronous events, can parse CSV data, and pass it on for further processing, either locally or to other software.

The library has been tested and found working with local, remote, small, and large CSV files and datasets.

It supports custom delimiters if the CSV files aren't separated by an actual "comma", and can properly detect quotes and prevent data parsing errors.

Escape characters are also supported, and line breaks are properly detected.

On top of this there are also a CSV and object transformer, along with a CSV stringify tool for manipulating parsed data.
