Keypress 2.1.0

A JavaScript library for detecting key presses on a Web page, helping programmers bind specific actions to desired keyboard keys
Keypress is actually written in CoffeeScript and compiled to standards compliant JavaScript code.

The library works by constantly sniffing a Web page and capturing keyboard input.

This constant monitoring makes Keypress perfect for using in browser games or online editing interfaces (images, spreadsheets, etc.).

Keypress is also very configurable, allowing developers easy access to complex key binding procedures, helping them create not only one-press custom actions, but really complex key sequences or combos.

A simple demo page is included with the download package.

Main features:

  • Works with key up or key down events
  • Single key presses
  • Sequences
  • Key combos
  • Combo sequences
  • Callbacks
  • Documentation
