The library does a lot of things, all to improve CSS delivery and boost a site or app's performance.
Enhance-css will take all images found in a CSS file and embed them as Base64 photos to reduce HTTP requests.
It will also create timestamps or MD5 hashes for easier caching of stylesheet files.
To support asynchronous parallel requests, it will also duplicate CSS files across multiple hosts for a faster delivery.
