Breakpoints are viewport widths where the page's layout needs to change not to break and make a mess out of the content.
Rubberband creates a system to create and detect breakpoint passes, so layout changes can be triggered via JavaScript.
It works in conjunction with CSS 3 media queries and is able to detect when the browser enters a breakpoint and when it exits it.
Rubberband should be a mobile developer's best friend.
