simplejson 3.6.5

The most complete JSON encoder and decoder for Python, the unofficial and de facto standard for working with JSON data, files and streams
simplejson is written in a pure Python code and can work with both major branches of the Python programming language, 2.x and 3.x.

It has no external dependencies and includes an optional C extension.

This C extension is recommended for scenarios where a serious speed boost is needed, when working with large data streams or a C interpreter is at hand.

For season veterans simplejson needs no introduction, being one of the first JSON encoders/decoders for Python, a project that has always been kept up to date and has for this reason seen a lot of use cases, both in sandbox and production environments.

simplejson can handle converting JSON data to Python objects and vice versa, with support for complex hierarchies, pretty printing, and various other JSON-related quirks (detailed in the online documentation).
