    logilab-database description

    This Python module provides some classes to make unified access to different RDBMS (relational database management system) tools

    It has an compatible DB-API from different drivers to MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQLite and SQL Server, with an additional API for full text searching.

    Extension functions for common tasks such as creating database, index, users, dump and restore are also provided.

    For INSERT/UPDATE/DELETE statements (in sqlgen.py), SQL generation is supported.
