Redbrix is a browser-based front end for MySQL databases running on the PHP scripting language.
With Redbrix, you can have an attractive, powerful, fast user interface to your MySQL databases in minutes. No programming is required. In many cases, you will need simply to unpack the Redbrix ZIP file to your webserver and set a few configuration variables.
Because it needs to connect with potentially any MySQL database conceivable, Redbrix employs a highly optimized query generation engine, meaning it will run quickly even on modest hardware.
Redbrix has built-in authentication and data auditing meaning you can easily restrict access to your database to authorized users, set users' permissions on individual fields and tables and keep track of changes made to the records in the database.
A fast query engine is pointless if your users can't work fast too. Fortunately, Redbrix presents an intuitive, attractive face to users. Screens are logically laid out, with functions grouped together on the side bar, leaving the remainder of the screen free for viewing data. Record input and editing screens are organized in a simple, linear format which does not attempt to cram the most fields into the smallest space possible. Requirements:
· Apache version 1.3.14 or later
· PHP version 4.2.0 or later
· MySQL version 3.23.43 or later (4.0 or later recommended
