    Base 64 in Transact SQL Function description

    This SQL script converts standard text into Base64 and from Base64 into standard text

    The procedure works in two stages.

    In step 1, it converts the text from Base 64 to Base 10 or 2.

    In step 2, it converts from Base 10 or 2 to Base 256 (ASCII).
