Written in Ruby, it allows to write adapters for any API call.
Adapters are RubyGems which depend on the Ambition gem and are named something along the lines of ambitious-API.name.
The adapters use Ambition to turn plain Ruby code into another type of code and language to be executed.
This means that Ruby developers can write Ruby code and execute SQL, FBML or anything else.
