RandText script allows you to rotate the text on your webpages.The admin center allows you to easily create content files. The display script will then randomly display a different record from that file with each page reload.

Functionality:

• Password Protected Admin Center/Control Panel - The admin center allows you to create, edit and delete content files via your browser. Never a need to FTP files to your server. Password protected to ensure security.


• WYSIWYG Editor - A bonus feature for IE 5.5+ (Windows), Firefox 1.0+, Mozilla 1.3+ and Netscape 7+ users. RandText Pro has an integrated WYSIWYG editor that simplifies entering html in content files. 


• Dynamic Dropdown Menu - Allows you to create "Dynamic Dropdown Menus" for displaying previous periods of content. Visitors will be able to easily view previous periods of content in a controlled popup window format.


• External File Support - RandText Pro can retrieve and display any external file. This means that you can use your favorite html editor, such as FrontPage or Dreamweaver to create files and then have RandText Pro display them at the predefined rotation schedule. If you need to rotate large blocks of html or entire web pages, this is an ideal solution. Just imagine...easily display a different home page for every day of the week, or year!


• International and European Date Formats - Display the current date in U.S., International and European Formats.


• Local Time Adjustment - Allows you to specify an adjustment factor that will compensate for time zone differences between your server and your local time. Ensures accurate display of time sensitive data. 


• Customizable Control Panel - RandText Pro allows you to customize the visual aspects (colors, fonts etc.) of the Admin Center/Control Panel to match your websites aesthetics.

Rotation Schedules and File Types

• Random - Create a file of unlimited content records. RandText will randomly select a different record each time a page is displayed.


• Daily (By Time of Day) - This feature allows you to predefine content by time of day for each day of the week. You define multiple time slots for each day and the content that should be displayed during each time slot. A time slot can be as short as one minute or as long as 24 hours.


• Countdown - Set a target date and your predefined content will change daily till the target date is reached. A great way to bring attention to an upcoming event. After the target date, your default message will be displayed. You control all displays.


• Web Page - This powerful feature takes advantage of the integrated WYSIWYG html editor and allows you to easily create html for a web page. The html could be as small as a line of text or as big as an entire web page.


• Display Today's Date - A SUPER POWERFUL date display feature. RandText Pro supports over 40 different date format variations (now includes European and International). It also allows you to substitute the English day and month names with those of ANY other language.


• Sequential-Changes every nth day - Predefine up to 365 content records. RandText will sequentially cycle through the file and display a different content record every nth day (you control the nth). Great for things like a "quote of the day" or "tip of the day". 


• Daily (By Day of Week) - Allows you to predefine content for each day of the week. At the end of a week, the cycle would start over again.


• Daily (By Day of Month) - Allows you to predefine content for each day of the month. At the beginning of a new month, the cycle would start over again.


• Daily (By Day of Year) - The ultimate in predefined content. Allows you to predefine content for each day of the year. On January 1st, the cycle would start over again.


• Monthly (12 Times per Year) - Allows you to predefine content for each month of the year.


• Weekly (52 Times per Year) - Allows you to predefine content for each week of the year.
