Apache Qpid 0.30

An open source, cross-platform enterprise messaging system which implements the Advanced Message Queuing Protocol, also known as AMQP
Apache Qpid is a very well put together library which will allow developers to create applications and other software that can talk to each other via AMQP.

Qpid supports multiple platforms and programming languages, allowing developers to run client-broker combinations on different languages and OSs.

It also supports many useful features, like clustering, message queuing, transaction management, operational security, message distribution and content federation.

Qpid advantages come directly from using a protocol like AMQP, one of the few truly open and non-proprietary service messaging protocols around.

Additionally, Qpid is quite fast and 100% compliant with the original AMQP specification.
