VillaCal

VillaCal is an ASP availability calendar for web sites advertising holiday and vacation villas to let.

It enables the owner to maintain the availability online from any computer with internet access. You don't have to contantly upload and download a database or web pages each time you want to add new villa bookings. Users can view availability online and see the costs for any period.

Main Features:
- The programs are written in classic ASP VBScript and not asp.net. They are not components, and you can edit and amend the code if required.
- Records are held on an Access database. Only actual bookings are held, there is no requirement to hold a record of each day of the year. This means the database does not hold unnecessary records and and has ample capacity for holding thousands of bookings for a villa, should you be fortunate enough to need that facility.
- The calendar displays information on villa availability and on price bands for specified periods of time.
- You can choose to display 1 month or 6 months at a time - you get both programs. Simply point your navigation link to the one you want to use. Users can scroll through the calendar by month or by year, ensuring swift navigation to the required period.
- The calendar colours and price bands can be customised via a control panel. This makes it easy to integrate with your existing site.
- The villa owner has options to add, amend and delete bookings; add, amend and delete price bands; store customer details for each booking, and list all booking and price band records.
- the ability to hide booking records from public display while retaining the information. This means you could, for instance, display bookings made through you while not displaying bookings made through your management company - these can usually be re-assigned and bookings you bring in earn more money. A special version of the calandar can be viewed via the control panel which displays all bookings, with hidden bookings held in a different colour.
