jsDatePick is the optimal plugin for easing date input tasks on Web pages.
It is cross-browser tested and can be used as a popup or as an inline calendar.
The script works as a stand-alone JS library, but also comes with a jQuery version as well.
Demos are included with the download package.

· Calendar closes also when clicking anywhere else on the page and not just on the X button.
