D2 Sitelock Lite is a feature rich user management and login system for your website. It allows you to quickly and easily create members only areas accessible only to registered users.

The Signup Process:

1. User visits your site and attempts to visit a restricted page.

2. If the user is not logged into your site they are prompted to create a user account or login if they have already registered.

3. If the user chooses to register, the data they enter is captured by D2 Sitelock and used to create a new user account in your sites database. D2 Sitelock supports the capture of a large range of data and you can request as much or as little information from your users as you wish from address details to occupation.

4. Once the user submits their registration details they can now login to your site. You can optionally set D2 Sitelock to verify the users email address before they are permitted to login for the first time. With this option set, the user is sent an activation key via email that they must supply to activate their account.

Additional Features:

D2 Sitelock has a wealth of additional features to assist you in the administration of your website:

• Mailshot application - D2 Sitelock has a built in mailer application which allows you to create HTML formatted mailouts and newsletters and sent them to your users on a per user, per group or mass mail basis. New for v.3 is the inclusion of a mail template feature where you can store mailouts for cloning, editing and future re-use.


• Custom Redirection - This feature allows users to be automatically redirected to different pages after login depending on their access level eg you can set a rule to forward all users of access level 557 to members_area.asp following login.


• IP Blocking - Block certain IP addresses from logging into your site.


• Custom Field names - Map form fields used on your registration form to 'friendly' names within the database.


• Account Expiry - Set user accounts to automatically expire after a given period.


• Search Functions - Run keyword searches against user data held in your database.


• Export to CSV - Export your email address lists and user data to comma seperated files for use in spreadsheets etc.
