It can be use to quickly set up online multi-user auction sites.

Installation

Upload all the files except the docs directory
CHMOD the uploads directory to 0777
CHMOD the includes/data.inc.php to 0777
CHMOD the includes/countries.inc.php to 0777
CHMOD the language/EN/categories.inc.php to 0777
CHMOD the language/EN/categories_select_box.inc.php to 0777
CHMOD the cache directory to 0777
Go to http://yoursite/webid/install/install.php and follow the steps

Here are some key features of "WeBid":

· Everything is editable via admin panel
· Possibility to have multiple admins
· Banner system where admin can add banner users and add banners for each user and choose where the banners will be shown on the site (e.g. what category etc..)
· User can register and set up standard or dutch auctions
· Auctions can have a main image and a gallery of upto 5 more images
· Feedback system (buyers/sellers leave feedback on each other)
· Templates
· Multilingual capabilities

Requirements:

· JavaScript enabled on client side

Admin Panel:
· Merge pages & put related options on the same pages*
· Improve the admin home page so it shows more useful information
· Completely redo the graphical interface panels, the templates will be editable via the admin and get rid of the more pointless GI options

Install:
· Improve the upgrade script (so you can upgrade though multiple releases in one go)*

Auctions:
· Subtitle
· Secondary category

Template:
· Completely new template (well not completely new but im going to convert it to XHTML & CSS apposed to table based. I'm also going to neaten it up alot so it doesn't look like your using a script from the 1990's)

Other:
· Improve how the payment methods work when making an auction so users can only select payment methods of which they have set up (e.i entered paypal email address to use paypal).
· Final price fees
