Yahoo's logo makeover marathon has crossed the midpoint and we are getting closer to seeing what the actual new logo looks like. By day 30, most Yahoo users will probably be tired enough of all the changes and will be glad to see something that stays put.
That said, the day 18 logo is interesting, in that it's quite traditional and reminiscent of Yahoo's past logos, including the one that it retired a couple of weeks ago.
Again, the problem is that it doesn't look bad but it doesn't look good either, and it certainly doesn't stand out in any way.
If you're going to change a logo, at least change it to something that gets people's attention, otherwise, why bother? Still, we've got 12 more days of new logos, and Yahoo may still surprise us.
