Famed writer William Gibson, regarded as a master of science fiction, has tried on the Google Glass and liked it.
The novelist was speaking at the New York Public Library and, at one point, he was given a pair of Google Glass, SlashGear reports.
“I also got to try Google Glass, if only for a few seconds. Was faintly annoyed at just how interesting I found the experience,” the Neuromancer author tweets shortly after the event.
Since Gibson was envisioning today’s world back in the ‘80s, complete with the rise of reality television, the rapid growth of video games and the World Wide Web, as well as the “information age,” his opinion is highly regarded.
He was also asked what he thought about the way the device worked and he mentioned that the “focal point tech was impressive.”
