You'll finally get more control over the content that visitors see first
Twitter seems to never tire of changing things for its users. This time, the Twitter profiles have just received a few new personalization tools.“Moment by moment, your Twitter profile shows the world who you are. Starting today, it will be even easier (and, we think, more fun) to express yourself through a new and improved web profile,” the company brags in its blog post.
What does that mean for you, the Twitter user? Well, the new web profile enables anyone to use a larger profile photo, to customize the header, to display the best messages and more.
That being said, this will translate into the fact that your best tweets, namely those that have received the most engagement, will appear slightly larger. This makes it easier for visitors to locate the best content.
If you want to be even more helpful, you can pin one of your tweets at the top of the page.
There are now more filtering options as well. For instance, you can check out regular tweets, or only those that contain photos or videos. Additionally, it’s possible to view both tweets and replies in the same timeline.
The new profiles haven’t been rolled out to everyone just yet, but the features will be delivered in the coming weeks.
