Sippey will continue to advise Twitter on product strategy, he said, reports CNET.

“Over the past few weeks I’ve talked with Dick and Ali about what I want next in my career, and what Twitter needs at this stage of its life. And I’ve decided that it’s time for me to move on,” Sippey wrote in an email, referring to the discussions he’s had with Dick Costolo, Twitter’s CEO (Chief executive officer) and Ali Rowghani, COO (Chief operating officer).

Sippey, Twitter’s vice president of product, will continue to advise the company on product strategy and to help out in the search for his replacement.
